Individual Parts
The working model was disassembled into individual pieces. Each piece was then measured using a caliper, and any and all relevant dimensions were documented. These measurements were then used to precisely recreate each component in SolidWorks, ensuring proper fit and alignment in the assemblies.
Assemblies
All components were mated in ways that allow for accurate and expected movement. Individual components were mated together to create sub-assemblies, then sub-assemblies were combines to create the full 3D model.
Drawings
Drawings were created in SolidWorks detailing the critical dimensions of each component, as well as the components used in each assembly. See below for the full drawing gallery.
