I’m an engineer and designer from Oakland, California, currently pursuing a B.S. in Design Engineering at Brown University. My work focuses on exploring product innovation and biomedical design.

Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be an engineer, but was never sure where I fit within the field. I loved math and physics, but I was equally drawn to the hands-on side of engineering. I spent my free time thinking up ideas for fantastical machines, tinkering with existing one to figure out how they worked, and brainstorming how they could be improved. When I finally discovered design engineering in college, everything clicked.

A combination of mechanical engineering and industrial design, design engineering fulfills both my analytical and creative sides. My work is more than just aesthetics, it’s inner workings, physical interactions, and user research. My goal is to design products and devices that align with real user needs and create meaningful impacts.
